Having successfully competed several horses from Preliminary upwards, right through to FEI on her much loved mare Roshelly, Amy now offers her training ability and professional standards to others.

Amy has been a representative on the Qld Young Riders squad in 1997 and 1998 on Candour's Son and then progressed onto the Qld State A Squad in 1999 & 2000 on Roshelly, as well as being a Member of the Qld State B Squad in 2001 on 4 year old Immenhof Lux II.

Amy has been through pony club, inter-high school dressage & showjumping, until she decided to focus on EFA dressage in 1996. All of Amy's horses have been trained from basic level through to FEI wholly by herself.

Amy's career in dressage has seen her bring many horses through the ranks, which include horses of her own and horses for her clientele. Amy started the Dressage career off for "Beluga" owned by Tracy Round, who came to Amy as a newly broken 4 yo in 1999 and went on to win a Novice Championship under Amy in 2000. Beluga's career under his owner Tracey has continued to grow to great heights where he is now at Inter I level.

Amy's horses that she has brought on herself include Candour's Son, Roshelly, Immenhof Lux II, Leadburn Rotstein, Leadburn Don Bre-Ayr & Leadburn Don Amour who have all been competed with great success.

After Roshelly's retirement in 2001, we purchased Immenhof Lux II (Lander) just broken who competed very successfully as a 3 year old, and went on to become Qld Preliminary Champion in 2003, and he went through to Elementary, rarely out of a placing until being sold in June 2006.

Leadburn Rotstein who Amy currently has under saddle is out presently competing also.

Amy's focus on the importance of 100% accurate basics including the use of the German Training Scale is an indicating factor as to why her horses compete so successfully.

Amy is available to take your horse from pre breaking stage through to basic training or competition ready and also does training for sale.

The facilities at Leadburn Lodge are of a 5 star standard. All horses are meticulously handled and cared for as she would care for her own.

Training costs are $145 per week (may vary on individual horses needs), plus $30 per ride.
