Attributes:
We can proudly say we have known Rotstein since he was a
twinkle in his mothers eye.
After making a specific request to Dr Max Wilson our
breeding vet:- We must get a handsome black colt with 3 white socks,
a star and a snip!
Well
the story just continues on from there . . . .
To
witness the birth of a black colt, with an enormous amount of white,
and a tremendoulsy quiet nature, we could always tell Rotstein was
always destined to be the outstanding Stallion he is today. Not
like most horses that shine at 3 days 3 months and 3 years, he has
never had an ordinary day!
Our
first indication of his outstanding temperament (besides the fact
it was easier to catch him than his mother . . ) was displayed when
at the age of 2 1/2, after routine general handling he was sent
to the breaker, where our breaker advised us after 6 days he was
ready to return home to continue under saddle. (He was much better
behaved than the breakers lead horse!)
That
being in October 2003 the following June, as a late 3 year old,
he came out and won the Qld 4 year old Young Horse Championship
against horses who were turning 5!
Rotstein
has an amazing temperament, outstanding rideability and a great
training ethic. His first crop of foals, born in 2005, strikingly
resemble their fathers temperament movement and looks.
Standing at stud through AI - fresh/chilled
semen.
